Being authentic makes one attractive. Authenticity comes from being honest. Acting from a place of true conviction is much better than acting from a place of pretence.
“No matter how plain a woman may be, if truth and honesty are written across her face, she will be beautiful.”
― Eleanor Roosevelt
Show Up Beautiful
It’s funny if you think about this. The world we live in expects us to know about everything. There is always a sense of pressure. We are to pretend as if we know everything. But the truth is we don’t know everything. Acknowledging this makes us humble and ready to learn.
It’s okay not to know everything. We are not supposed to know everything. We’ve got to be real with ourselves. We’ve got to be willing to learn, unlearn and relearn. Then we would show up beautiful and confident in our own skin.
“There is nothing more beautiful than seeing a person being themselves. Imagine going through your day being unapologetically you.”
― Steve Maraboli
Follow Your Conviction
Conviction is a sense of knowing that shows what is right. Doing the right thing is acting from a place of conviction. This results in greater peace and harmony within oneself. This, in turn, reflects as being authentically beautiful.
“To thine own self be true, and it must follow, as the night the day, thou canst not then be false to any man.”
― William Shakespeare
A Lesson In Beauty From Nature
Let’s look at nature. Every bit of nature is beautiful. They look so unique and beautiful at all times. Do they try hard to look beautiful? No.
They simply demonstrate being beautiful always with no effort at all. They are just being themselves, isn’t it?
- A rose is a rose. It exuberates rosy scent every moment.
- The Sun continues to shine every moment being in the east or west.
- The mountains continue to stand still and strong.
They just continuously are being true to their nature. This makes them so inspiring and attractive.
In the same way, each one of us can take time out and discover our unique nature. We can embrace what we are naturally good at. Then share it with the world. You can be a source of inspiration to many.
“If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy. If a blade of grass springing up in the fields has the power to move you. If the simple things of nature have a message that you understand. Rejoice, for your soul is alive.”
― Eleonora Duse
How Do You See Yourself?
Take a look at yourself. How do you feel about yourself?
If you don’t feel good, then know that you can change this feeling. After all, any negative thoughts are nothing but thoughts, and thoughts can be changed.
Good thoughts support and nourish the mind. It aids in helping you show up beautiful.
“A beautiful mind is like a beautiful path! The more you travel with it, the more you find peace and happiness!”
― Mehmet Murat ildan
