Life is a roller coaster full of adventures, some easy and some takes a brave heart to do them.
It is not always an enjoyable ride. Sometimes we sail through it easily and sometime we might need some luck or maybe some helping hand to complete our adventure of life.
Sometimes we will be relied on our luck and need some help such as a chance, a break or any opportunity. Sometimes we need someone to show us some compassion and kindness.
Life can be difficult at times, and if each of us remembers to help others every now and then, we’ll be doing our part in making life more enjoyable for us and for everyone.
To lead a happy and stress free life, reach down to those who need to be uplifted in life.
As “Those who are happiest are those who do the most for others.”
— Booker T. Washington
In doing so, we aren’t just lifting them but we are lifting ourselves too.
“An effort made for the happiness of others lifts us above ourselves.”
— Lydia M. Child
The Ripple Effect of Kindness
Every act of kindness is like a ripple, one leads to another.
“Even the smallest act of caring for another person is like a drop of water – it will make ripples throughout the entire pond.”
— Jessy and Bryan Matteo
If you are being kind to someone, the world will be kind to you. Rising above the materialistic living, life is all about what we give to others.
Winston S. Churchill has stated — “We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give.”
To find the motto of one’s life, to find out his true self, a person should loose himself in the service of others.
And while doing so, he certainly will find the reason of his existence, his true worth, which will henceforth make him immortal in this otherwise mortal world.
“What we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others and the world remains is immortal.”
— Albert Pine
Helping out others doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to help them financially or you have to be into their shoes and perform their roles.
It could be as simple as a gesture of faith in them; it could be encouraging them, motivating them and assuring them that you are there to watch their back.
It is all about moral support, empowering them by motivating them; it is all about restoring their hope back in them.
“Be of service. Whether you make yourself available to a friend or co-worker, or you make time every month to do volunteer work, there is nothing that harvests more of a feeling of empowerment than being of service to someone in need.”
— Gillian Anderson
In doing so, the smile on their face, their love towards you; is the best reward you can get of your kind deeds. The sense of contentment on their face is the best trophy you can brag about to the world.
