Early Life
Fali Sam Nariman was born in the year 1929 on 10th January. He was born in Rangoon to Banoo and Sam Bariyamji. Yes, Fali Sam was raised in a typical Sindhi family.
Fali went to Bishop Cotton School in Shimla. He finished his graduation from St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai (then Bombay). After finishing his graduation in History and Economics, he went to Mumbai’s Government Law College to pursue the law degree.
He was awarded the Kinlock Forbes Gold Medal and also a Roman law & Jurisprudence prize. Fali’s father wanted him to become an IAS officer but they could not afford it. Fali chose law as his career.
Fali got married in the year 1995 to Bapsi Nariman. They have a daughter and a son. The couple is happily married!

Fali Sam Nariman has had a thriving career as a lawyer. He started his career at the Bombay High Court. Fali practiced law for 22 years and then it paid off! Yes, he was appointed as, ‘Senior Advocate’ by the Supreme Court of India. This was in the year 1971.
Fali received the Padma Vibhushan and Padma Bhushan Award in 2007 and 1991 respectively. He had the opportunity to work with great personalities!
