Get going ahead!
We play so many roles in life. First, we play the role of being us. This individual personality that we circle ourselves in. Then, in the family circle, we play the role of a brother, sister, mother, father, daughter, son and so many others.
In the circle of society, we play the role of a neighbour and colleague. Professionally we play the roles according to the skills that we have. A doctor, engineer, lawyer, entrepreneur.
From the nation or world point of view, we play the role of a citizen and resident. There are so many different roles that we play constantly. We cater and perform within these circles.
But the question is which circle does one cater to? Do you only provide to your personality? Or do your duties also involve taking care of your family as well?

This is the journey from being selfish to unselfish to being selfless. You can do this by setting higher goals in life.
There are 3 types of people who work for 3 types of goals.
I-Me-MySelf type – Get going ahead from being selfish.
The selfish type always caters to the idea of I – Me – Myself and that’s it. They don’t consider anyone or anything else.
Most commonly they say things like this:

- This is My life.
- I like this. I dislike this, and I don’t care about anything else.
- I will only work according to My way.
- This is My house. These are My things.
They are basically bound within the tiniest circle of their personal desires. Their only goal is to provide for themselves leaving others.
Circle of Family and Friends – Get Going Ahead Being Unselfish
These type of people are unselfish. They only limit themselves to cater to their family and friends. They surely consider oneself but also aims to be of value to the family.

- They contribute to the family.
- They value the members in their family.
- They give time and energy to help and participate in the families progress.
Most people in life only cater to these two circles. But we do have the capacity to expand to circles that have even greater goals.
Expanding so we can generate more energy and momentum in our lives.
Think Big – Spread Your Wings – Get Going Ahead – Being More Unselfish
The more one includes the welfare of others, the more they generate energy.
When you start caring for your neighbours and society, helping out in small ways, it makes a big difference. This attitude of unselfishness brings in more opportunities. Allowing one to grow and have more authentic relationships.
Even greater, is to go higher in the circle. These types of people contribute to one’s nation as a citizen. It could even be a very small thing like paying your taxes on time or just keeping the city clean.
These small acts shows that the individual doesn’t only think about oneself or one’s family. Or is not limited to the circle of society. But also is willing to contribute in some way or the other to their country.
Be The Sun – Be Selfless
It gets even better!
There are people who set even higher goals. They contribute to the world at large. Again it doesn’t have to be a large contribution. Even just an attitude of wishing to contribute positively to the world is a good start to being selfless.
When you do get the opportunity to impact the world in a positive way through your talent, you then happily do it.
Let’s look at the Sun. It shines, brings vitality, does what it ought to do every single day. It’s the only purpose is to shine and give vitality to the world so we can continue to exist. This selflessness gives everlasting energy and momentum to the Sun.
Nature gives so many such examples of selflessness.
