Home Is Where Nature Is – A Tryst With Nature

Home Is Where Nature Is – A Tryst With Nature
“Nature is not a place to visit. It is home.” ― Gary Snyder

Nature is Pleased with Simplicity

Gary Snyder said something so beautiful that the words made their way into our hearts.

Nature is not a hangout place or a club that you visit, destroy the flowers and plants and come back to your dwelling.

No! Nature is a gift of God! He created it for our understanding. It teaches us the art of nurturing and caring.

Home is where nature is! It is nature which plays both the role of a teacher and our home. It brings immense joy into our lives. It teaches us about simplicity.

Do the flowers pose to look pretty? They are just there. The whole process of a bud turning into a flower or the falling of leaves, the thought itself is so charming!

“Just living is not enough. One must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower.”
― Hans Christian Andersen

The Role of a Teacher and Our Home

In today’s world, nature is in trouble. There is deforestation, killing of animals and polluting of rivers. We consider rivers as a holy water body but we are performing leisure activities and swimming in the same.

Nature does not judge you! It faces all the torture and still teaches us the art of patience and will power. Nature teaches us to be patient and caring. You would find that animals stay in groups and it teaches us about unity.

Nature is a gift of God and we still waste the limited resources that the planet has! Why can’t we treat it like our own home? A home we come back to.

Our life depends on nature! The food we have on our plate is nature’s offering. The air that we breathe is also a blessing of nature. We forget all this and continue to pollute the air and water.

Why is that so? It is because nature does not have a voice. We think that nature does not shout when it is tortured. We must learn to become sensitive towards nature which provides us fruits, vegetables, and even animals.

“Going to the woods is going home. ”
― John Muir

Home is where Nature is – Learn to Respect It

We do not think much about our surrounding and how we should protect our environment. It is not the world’s responsibility – it is YOUR responsibility because change starts from a personal level.

Learn to respect nature and treat it as your home. Your dwelling provides you shelter, food, protection and so much more. Nature is doing the same! It provides you food, a protected atmosphere and the air that you breathe is not a miracle. It is nature which keeps you alive!

Home is where nature is! On a sad day, you wish to get away from the world and go to a scenic place such as the isolated beach or the mountains. All this falls under nature! The mountains, lakes, sea, plants, trees, fruits, animals and everything that belongs to this planet is nature.

Just because it does not shout back, you must not take advantage of the limited resources.
