How To Rebel And Be Yourself
“When a man is denied the right to live the life he believes in, he has no choice but to become an outlaw.” ― Nelson Mandela

Has the society ever called you an outlaw or non-conformist? If yes, Congratulations. I am glad you are reading this as this is to celebrate all of those people who do not agree to fit into boxes crafted by society.

It is okay to be a rebel when you know what you are here to do. Many of us do not agree to the terms and conditions assigned by society on humans. Makes sense because they are not made for our welfare but for the welfare of the society or community we live in.

It is okay to be selfish and you are allowed to choose your own path. Be proud that you are an aware soul who knows his or her rights and feels no remorse in pursuing them. You are beautiful just the way you are.

If you have ever felt that you didn’t get your due from this society, it is your turn to change the power structure. No one is as powerful as you are as an individual.

Read on to know how to be an outlaw and carry on with your greatest adventures:

Most Rebels/Outlaws Bring Change

These are the people who stand up for what is right. These are the people with courage, love and compassion. They genuinely believe in causes and do not demand respect in return. They just want a better world-order.

If you are one of them, you are a leader by birth. Don’t shy away from that huge quality that can take you places!

Be Proud of Your Status

Outlaws have nothing to lose. They expect nothing from the world. They have seen enough and known which path to follow. They had a brave heart to go against the bandwagon of people sheepishly following norms and rules of this world. It is great that you are not one of them.

Whatever is accepted in a society doesn’t have to be right. Remember that systems like Sati and Slavery were legal at a point in time. Hundreds of people following a particular order doesn’t make it the right decision or course of action.

You Are a Free Bird

You are not tied up to the rule and regulations as you have accepted a different way of life. You are your own boss and nothing anybody says changes your stance.

You have a strong character which people look up to and most envy. You have escaped the rat race, congratulations, you are officially awesome!

Follow Your Path even if it is Less Taken

Normal people take the regular path as they know where it leads. They have heard stories from ancestors and chose to travel the same way, no questions asked.

Rebels on the other hand, are critics, questioning everything that sounds off. Rebels are not here to take your words on face value. They may seem insensitive and like they are living in their own worlds but actually they are deeply sensitive to everything. They have the guts to react to wrong-doings which many of us cowardly avoid.

Rebels are Lovers

They love with each ounce of their being. They love their life, what they do for a career and they care deeply for the people around. They feel deeply and hence are some of the most beautiful souls.

Rebels are a creative bunch of people trying to light up the world by taking away its darkness. They are worshippers of goodness and self-motivated to make this world a better place.

So, be one and light up the lives of others.
