Here are a few ways that you can lift your mind up and lead a positive life.

Repeat positive affirmations for a healthy mind.

Know that you are free to change your mind. You are free to choose again even if you made a mistake. A lot of times, a negative belief system creates obstacles for us. Know that you can change this.

For example, a person may have really bad eating habits. In order to change this, the person starts to make lifestyle changes.

Along with this he regularly tells himself, “I am getting healthy. I am improving.” These thoughts then support his actions.

Stop Criticizing Yourself

One very important aspect of developing positivity is to not criticize ourselves. As adults, we tend to be very unkind to ourselves.

Who can know you more than yourself?

Show a little kindness to yourself. Give yourself support as you make those positive changes.

Remember criticism is also a negative thought pattern. Somehow you’ve picked it up while growing up. You are free to change this. Every time you catch yourself criticizing, stop and affirm a positive encouraging statement.

  • I didn’t do well becomes I did well.

  • I cannot do this becomes I am fully capable of doing this.

Be the light for yourself and you will see beautiful changes happen in your life.
