What is a Happy Life?

As it is rightly said, ‘Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it’.

Well, life depends upon choices. And the choices results in the level of happiness.

We live in a world where people suffer from uncontrollable stresses and shortcomings. But the reaction to those conditions helps a man build his emotion and character.

A happy life is thus referred to as the life, which lies in the ability to extract satisfaction from the most common little things and also in difficult conditions.

A man can never always remain happy in a false notion that everything will go his way. It is never that way. Happiness can exist only in acceptance.

“Happiness is a choice. You can choose to be happy. There’s going to be stress in life, but it’s your choice whether you let it affect you or not.”
― Valerie Bertinelli

How Do the Modern Day World People Consider as Being Happy?

The modern day world is growing at such a swift rate you just can’t imagine. And quite rightly, the level of happiness varies from person to person.

Some people seek happiness in every little thing; some seek happiness in finding love, and believe love is exactly what happiness is.

Some people believe living in the moment is the key to happiness.

Well, being happy truly depends on how a person tackles all the obstacles in his life; his way of treating the shortcoming offered to him.

And from those, if he manages to get happy, then he has certainly proved his very worth of existence.

Happiness is Experiencing Joy in Most Common Little Things

We must believe in the fact that our lives are short and we have to live in such a way that we are satisfied with the way we spend every minute, every moment.

The level of happiness in our lives completely depends on us and no one else. It is truly an experience, the experience of living life like it is meant to be.

It is a factor that differentiates the people who see the world in their own ways.

A rich man might possess everything he desires but might not be happy, whereas in case of a poor man, he might be successful in seeking happiness from the most common little things.

“Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude.”
― Denis Waitley

Life and the Level of Happiness are Co-Related

In a nutshell, we can truly conclude that being happy is a notion that is completely dependent on the prospective of a person’s vision.

The level of happiness is determined only through the choices made by a man in every moment in his life. And that’s what life exactly is.

It is the ability to react to whatever happening to us. And if we manage to react to it well, then we are happy. It is as simple as that.

“In this life, we have to make many choices. Some are very important choices. Some are not. Many of our choices are between good and evil. The choices we make, however, determine to a large extent our happiness or our unhappiness, because we have to live with the consequences of our choices.”
― James E. Faust
