The Act of Forgiving is not so Easy as it Sounds
The act of forgiving is the noblest of all and has the potential to turn even impossibilities into a possibility.
A person who is unable to forgive someone is probably committing the biggest of the sins. However, when at some point of time he changes his mindset and decides to forgive the person, that is probably the time he realises how big his fault really was.
“To forgive is to set a prisoner free and discover that the prisoner was you.”
― Lewis B. Smedes
Forgiving Always does Good and Brings Eternal Peace of Mind
It is of course true that the act of forgiving someone benefits the one who is forgiven but seldom the other side of the story is seen or felt.
The one who forgives gets a sort of eternal peace of mind which is incomparable to any other humble acts.
If a person has something against another person in mind and does not forgive him or is not ready for that, he is probably killing himself from inside.
His act generates more and more hate within him which is harmful for himself. But if he decides to move on by forgiving his enemy, he does good to himself only.
Thus, one should always choose the path of forgiving rather than keeping hatred for someone.
While it is true that the other person would be benefited in the due process, this can bring a lot of benefits to the person concerned as well. It is truly the noblest of all.
“Forgiveness is not something we do for other people. It’s something we do for ourselves to move on.”

Forgiving is Both the Toughest as well as the Noblest
Probably forgiving someone who has caused harm to you is the toughest ever task one might encounter, even tougher than the harm that was caused.
But if a person successfully overcomes this pain to forgive the person who caused harm to him, he gets a peace and eternal peace of mind that is truly incomparable.
Sorting out things as fast as possible and the act of forgiving the person who has caused harm is blissful and the only way to achieve peace even when the situation is totally complex.
“Forgiveness is not always easy. At times it feels more painful than the wound we suffered, to forgive the one that inflicted it. And yet, there is no peace without forgiveness.”
― Marianne Williamson
The EndNote: The Act of Forgiving is Truly the Solution to Everything
What has happened in the past is totally impossible to change. But the future is partially in hands of the doer.
The act of forgiving, being the noblest of all, although in no way influences the harm that has been brought to the person concerned or helps to overcome the harm, it helps to have a better future ahead.
Forgiving can help in smoothing out things and issues which can be a lot beneficial in the future.
A person rather than repeatedly proclaiming on the past or the harm that was brought, should consider forgiving the person who has caused the harm as soon as possible so as to ensure a better future for both.
“When you forgive, you in no way change the past, but you sure do change the future.”
― Bernard Meltzer
