We all stand on some principles made by society, constitution, nature and ourselves.
We tend to say to ourselves as well others that we are free people and are living in liberties; freedom of choice and liberty of will.
Liberty is further having two types, that are:
1. Negative liberty, which is from external factors.
2. Positive liberty, which is the master oneself.
These are the rights which are granted to us by the constitution. We claim them as alienable rights, granted to us by the laws of nature, virtue and common morality.
We are not responsible for the actions of our fellow citizens but we are responsible for the actions of ourselves. We are responsible for the citizens of the free republic to hold our fellow citizens.
History Teachings and Meaning of Liberty
History has taught us over and over again that liberty is not free.
When the need comes to get freedom or liberty, the ultimate protectors of freedom or liberty have come, which are brave men and women of our nation.
Probably our history, they have answered the call in bravery and sacrifice.
Liberty, a small word but it is having huge meaning in itself, which means the state of being free within society from oppressive restrictions imposed by authority on one’s behavior or political views.
“Freedom is our birthright, We shall have it.”
Freedom is Our Right
Freedom is very important and essential for anything or to achieve your goals and success.
It is basic human right, whereas our Indian Constitution also gives people ‘The Right of Liberty and Security’, ‘Right to freedom of association and movement’.
Democracy is liberty – a liberty which does not violet on liberty nor the personal life of others. A liberty maintains strict discipline.
Disobedience is the true founder of liberty, the obedient must be slaves and it cannot be preserved without general knowledge among people.
Liberty Brings Acts of Heroism and Bravery
The one who is brave is free. Creativity is one of the biggest expressions of liberty.
Freedom within boundaries is like a river without banks, we must have it but in boundaries.
Freedom makes one brave and one’s own hero because you are free to do what you want.
It has a great, enthusiastic feeling which makes you brave to fight battles and make yourselves a hero providing peerless confidence and determination. It makes you be an inspiring example to the world.
Need to Know
It is time for us to stand up and be informed about the things happening in surroundings. It is time for all of us to raise our voices and together we must secure our liberty, freedom, and right to security.
Liberty is good, those who suppress it are worthy of punishment. Rights deal with the value of punishment/protecting other’s interference with liberty, not the actual protection of liberty.
Pass on Liberty
Transferring the posterity which we received from our ancestors is much more form of a liberty than leaving wealth to our next generation.
Our duty is not to transmit the wealth we have but it is our utmost duty to transmit liberty to them.
Our ancestors sacrificed their liberty for us so that we can enjoy it today.
So make sure to pass on the liberty, be it on the Individual level, Society level or Country level.
Remember,“Liberty when once gone cannot be redeemed back. Once gone, gone forever.”
Conclusion
Liberty is everybody’s right, but in boundaries so as to stop any misshapen and not to do anything wrong.
Liberty can differ from person to person but the heroic outcome is what matters at the end.
For some might not like the idea of liberty and restrict from it. The more freedom would be restricted or attacked, more the plant of liberty will grow and nourish.
So, feel the freedom, be brave and conquer the whole world.
Always remember: “Liberty can be boon if in boundaries and principles, but it can be the bane if out of boundaries and principles.”
