Thought For The Day with Motivational Words

“Powerful Words of Motivation - Thought for the Day!”

Thought for the Day: 28 February 2022

“The essence of being human is that one does not seek perfection.”
― George Orwell

Thought for the Day: 28 February 2022

Nobody is perfect, for perfection is an illusion. No human being is free from errors. We are humans of emotions, not machines; sometimes we are ready to go any length or do any sin for the sake of loyalty and prove our commitment.

With the flaws and errors, we have an opportunity to work and improve ourselves as well as to help each other and take the human kind to the next level in every possible way.

Set aside ego. Accept that we are not perfect, however that should not restrict us from doing our best and contributing to humanity.

Instead of running to seek faultlessness, it is wise to accept that imperfections are part of life and not let them bother you.

Thought for the Day: 27 February 2022

“Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice.”
― Steve Jobs

Thought for the Day: 27 February 2022

Inner voice is the voice inside your head or your inner wisdom that will direct you to your goals.

When we go with someone else’s opinions, we are limiting our own ability to make judgement and work independently.

With this, we develop a tendency to seek for others’ approval to do something or be happy, which can prove detrimental to our growth and development.

Also, things may go according to other people’s expectations, and sometimes misleading, but not according to our plans and ambition.

Seek advice from others but to pursue great things, listen to your inner voice, and it will show you the way.

Trust that you have this inner voice, which requires your practice, stillness of mind and being mindful.

Thought for the Day: 26 February 2022

“Share your smile with the world. It’s a symbol of friendship and peace.”
― Christie Brinkley

Thought for the Day: 26 February 2022

Smile is one of the most beautiful things you can share with all. With its reflection, begins the journey of peace, happiness and friendship putting an end to jealousy, hatred or hard feelings.

The power of a smile that beams through the pure heart is such that even the lump of hatred melts down, an unknown becomes a friend and covers the ugliness hidden within.

Just imagine your friend who frowns often or gives an ice look always! Would you feel comfortable? Then what about strangers? Forget about making new friends if you are that kind of person.

Smiling more often enriches your heart, purifies your soul and elevates your life to the next level.

Share your smile with the world and spread the positive vibes of peace and friendship.

Thought for the Day: 25 February 2022

“There is only one corner of the universe you can be certain of improving, and that’s your own self.”
― Aldous Huxley

Thought for the Day: 25 February 2022

If there is anything that we can control or improve to the best, that is ourselves – our own thoughts, feelings, and behavior.

Self-improvement is the key to:

    • increase self-awareness,
    • enhance strength,
    • overcome weakness,
    • strengthen relationships,
    • improve understanding and
    • have a clarity of things in life.

Before trying to make improvements around you or change others, you need to start from within to be able to bring real changes, and that ability comes with your decision to work and improve your own self.

The only thing we can be certain of our ability to improve and change is ourselves. For others we can only give advice or guidance but cannot do anything unless they decide to do it themselves.

Keep things simple and look out within yourself for improvement before going out to change the world.

Thought for the Day: 24 February 2022

“The only thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision.”
Helen Keller

Thought for the Day: 24 February 2022

Vision is something that gives structure, purpose and direction to our life.

Eyes give us only physical sight – the ability to see outer things; but vision is the mental ability to imagine, think long-term, interpret things according to situation and plan ahead of time.

Having sight, but without mental vision is worse than being blind.

Have a vision in life, think about what you would like to achieve or where would you like to see yourself in the coming days! Plan things and work to accomplish them.

Bliss is something that gives great joy, happiness and contentment.

To follow your bliss, find what makes you happy and live out with it.

Look out for things that bring joy in your life. Do something that you really enjoy doing, no matter how small it might be.

The most important thing is to find happiness even in the little moments of your life. It is those little moments of happiness which act as stepping stones to greater joy, fulfilling and blessed life.

Thought for the Day: 20 February 2022

“We can know only that we know nothing. And that is the highest degree of human wisdom.”
― Leo Tolstoy

Thought for the Day: 20 February 2022

Learning is a process which continues till the end of life, yet we cannot know about each and everything in the universe. Whatever we know is very less or insignificant compared to the whole universe. Also knowledge keeps on evolving.

Accepting the fact that we know nothing, we become more open to new knowledge and strive to gain it through experiments and observations.

When one assumes that he knows everything, he becomes more tyranny, egoistic and discriminative.

When we know that we know nothing, that is our humility. With it starts our true journey of wisdom.

Learn more and be more humble; see things with open mind and be curious to know more and grow wiser every day.

Thought for the Day: 19 February 2022

“Do you want to know who you are? Don’t ask. Act! Action will delineate and define you.”
― Thomas Jefferson

Thought for the Day: 19 February 2022

Ever wondered who you are or what you wish to become in the future?

Nothing can define yourself better than your Actions – who you are and your potential to be.

What is the meaning of human lives without actions? Purposeless. The name, fame, money whatever we achieve in life is because of the work we do.

People become great and live for ages even after death, only due to their work.

So, next time before pondering upon your identity, do things that better your own as well as others’ life.

Thought for the Day: 18 February 2022

“Whoever is careless with the truth in small matters cannot be trusted in important affairs.”
― Albert Einstein

Thought for the Day: 18 February 2022

Truth speaking and being careful even in small matters is the true identity of an honest and responsible person.

The manner in which a person deals with the facts and figures of a matter, both on a personal and professional level, decides how responsible and trustworthy the person is.

One who is careless or neglects the truth in small matters is equally liable to dishonesty. He cannot be trusted in important affairs.

Involvement of such person in the whole decision-making process can lead things in the wrong direction. Sometimes it’s in the small issues around which the core of important matter is based.

Always trust the person who is truthful – tells or confesses the truth even in minor matters.

“Being happy doesn’t mean that everything is perfect. It means that you’ve decided to look beyond the imperfections.”
― Gerard Way

Thought for the Day: 17 February 2022

Imperfection is a part of human life. It lies within and around us in one or the other way. Sometimes trying to force perfection over imperfection becomes a cause of misery.

Being happy with what you have and who you are shows that you are grateful for the blessings in your life. It also means that you have the ability to see the goodness of life.

Instead of worrying on the imperfections, find the good in you and strive to do better.

“Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there.”
― Will Rogers

Thought for the Day: 15 February 2022

With the golden opportunities that come in life, one must be able to catch hold of them and be willing to put his best possible efforts.

No matter how better the opportunities are, without making efforts, we fail to grab the track of progress in life.

In order to be something of value in life, first we should follow the right path and continue it to the right direction.

But if we just sit idly, no opportunity will wait for us nor will take us anywhere.

Be the one who makes the right use of opportunities, maximizes his potential and hits the target.

Ever demotivated because of the rumors circulating about you?

Rumors are temporary; they come and pass by. But your belief in yourself, your potential, and goals must be unconditionally constant and stronger that nothing can shake it.

Let them say what they have to. Their opinion does not matter if you believe in yourself  and you are aware of what you are doing.

Instead of being belittled by rumors, stay focused on your work. With time, their mouth will shut with your achievement.

“The key is not to prioritize what’s on your schedule, but to schedule your priorities.”
― Stephen Covey

Thought for the Day: 11 February 2022

Priorities are the things of concern, interest or desire that come prior in the every day to-do list. They give a meaning and purpose to our life.

In every activity of concern, to show our commitment, dedication and reach the target, we must schedule our priorities.

Instead of being focused on schedule or to-do list, find your priorities in life – be it your family, study, hobby or any goal that is to be accomplished.

Make sure your schedule for the things that matter to you the most are being fulfilled.

Don’t prioritize your schedule, schedule your priorities; decide what is important to you and make sure you give ample time for it.

“Kind words can be short and easy to speak but their echoes are truly endless.”
Mother Teresa

Thought for the Day: 10 February 2022

It does not cost anything to speak but the impact of speaking kind words is priceless.

Kind words have the power to heal the wounded heart, encourage and change someone’s life for the better.

Simple words like – ‘Thank You’, ‘God Bless You’ can help brighten someone’s day, and encourage living his best possible self everyday.

It uplifts your behavior, emotions and mood. However, the effects of unkind and harsh words spoken out of anger is depressing.

Let’s think for a moment: Why not practice compassion and speak kind words when it can be short, easy and have truly endless echoes.

Thought for the Day: 9 February 2022

“When you judge another, you do not define them, you define yourself.”
― Wayne Dyer

Thought for the Day: 9 February 2022

When we judge another, we are stating opinions, making assumptions or projecting emotion out of insecurities.

In the process of making judgement, we reveal a truth about ourselves – how we think, feel and take things.

Without knowing about others, making subjective judgement based on their outer impression is not right. Sometimes we may have to feel guilty for the same.

Instead of making negative judgmental assumptions about people and putting them down, try to look for the good in them.

As rightly said that when we judge someone, it isn’t actually about them; rather it’s about us, our mentality and insecurities.

So, next time, first look at yourself before trying to judge others for no reason.

Thought for the Day: 7 February 2022

“Open your arms to change but don’t let go of your values.”
― Dalai Lama

Thought for the Day: 7 February 2022

Our values are moral, ethical and cultural principles that help us to decide what is right and wrong and act in different situations.

Values define us – who we are and where we belong to. They shape the generation’s mind and help in moulding their character.

Stand by those values at all costs because that is our identity. When we lose identity, we lose our roots.

If there are some values that tend to disrupt social integrity or raise questions against human wisdom, those must be modified; but that does not mean to forget all good values in the name of change.

Welcome change with open arms but never compromise on your values for money or anything else.

“There is only one success – to be able to spend your life in your own way.”
― Christopher Morley

Thought for the Day: 5 February 2022

Often we associate success with name, fame, richness and wealth. The one with more wealth, popularity and achievements is regarded as successful.

But what if we feel empty inside in spite of being so called successful?

The real gist of success is being able to live our life the way we want, chase our dreams and go at any length to accomplish them.

Living life the way we want does not mean searching satisfaction in wrong things or being disrespectful to the basic codes of human life.

It means living life in a righteous way, following passion and making contributions to social life with our knowledge, skills and work.

How happier the world would become had everyone of us could listen to our heart and live our life the way we want.

Swami Vivekananda

Thought for the Day: 4 February 2022

Life is all about taking risk, making bold decision, going extra miles or doing something new in life.

According to the great legend Swami Vivekananda, in the end, it does not matter whether you become successful or turn out to be a failure; because doing something, exploring and fulfilling the purpose of life is the greatest thing.

If you can reach the top, you can lead those following your footsteps. Even if you fail, you can guide others with your life experiences and help them in their accomplishments. Your story will be an inspiring lesson to all.

Have a positive mindset and be willing to take risks in life. Your experience, knowledge and ideas gained while venturing is something that values more than mere success.
