What Matters Is The Right To Freedom, Not The Demand For It! Practice The Right Instead Of Claiming The Freedom
“We must be free not because we claim freedom, but because we practice it.” — William Faulkner

Right to Freedom is Right of Every Individual

Every individual is entitled with the right to freedom and this fact should be respected by every other individual.

There might be times when people get frustrated with captivity or bossism and go on to demand and claim for their freedom.

In such a scenario, it is always their right to freedom that matters and not their claim for it.

A person grows happy if he is granted with freedom but in order to achieve this, he needs to show certain level of courage which comes out in the form of the freedom claims and demands.

But it should not be demands that solely lead the decision to freedom, rather the right to freedom of the people should play a major role in the decision.

“The secret to happiness is freedom…And the secret to freedom is courage.”
— Thucydides

Education Paves Ways for Freedom

Education plays a crucial role in everyone’s lives, especially when the matter comes to freedom.

Once a person is educated and gets to know his rights, gets to know about the world, he becomes abled to assert the importance of freedom over his oppressors.

Even when the oppressors are educated, they get to know the value of freedom and its essence. Thus, in order to achieve freedom, education is a must.

Educated people deal with matters more wisely and the same is applicable for claiming the freedom as well.

“Education is the key to unlock the golden door of freedom.”
— George Washington Carver

A Great Example

A great example in such a scene would be a caged bird.

Birds are born to fly and not caged. However, if a hunter cages a bird, the bird would definitely show some aggression in the form of fluttering of wings or continuous chirping.

These fluttering of wings and chirping of the bird can be considered as a form of claiming for the freedom.

At times, the demands of the bird for freedom would reach so high that the hunter would be forced to leave it. But the essence lies in the fact that the hunter should consider the right to freedom of the bird.

The hunter should not wait for the bird to flutter its wings to grant it freedom. Rather, he should consider the fact that birds are born to fly and this should lead him to free the bird.

Claiming the Freedom Provides the Power to Live

Once freedom is attained, the people get the power to live. People get to do whatever they wish to do and are entitled to do rather than stay in a surrounding of limits. But all these comes only when ample courage is shown to bag the freedom.

People should be granted freedom not because they demand for the same, rather because they practice the same.

It is everyone’s right to have freedom and the scene should not be dragged so long that the demands for freedom rise.

Freedom means to be truly attached to one’s own soul and this should not be fetched by claiming the freedom.

“Freedom brings about the power to live.”
